Hurley earned a Bachelor of Science degree in agricultural economics from Purdue University, and later obtained a Master of Business Administration from the Krannert School of Management at the same institution. In addition, he was also involved in the management of his family’s large hog operation. Today, Hurley currently resides in Niles, Michigan, with his wife, Kori, and their four daughters. Outside of the office, he enjoys coaching youth sports and serves as a youth leader at his local church.
