Jul 22, 2024ISAP’s Risk Management Conference set for August
The biennial Risk Management Conference hosted by The Illinois Sustainable Ag Partnership (ISAP) will be held from 9 to 10:30 a.m. in a three part virtual event on Aug. 1, 8 and 15.
The conference will be held virtually on Zoom, and it will address emerging threats to farm resiliency and how conservation practices can mitigate these risks.
There are three webinars offered for this year’s Risk Management Conference.

Pest Management & Herbicide Resistance | Aug. 1
- Presentations by Dr. Bryan Young, Dr. Jonathon Lundgren, and Illinois farmer Carl Zimmerman will focus on integrated pest management strategies.
Unpredictable Weather Risks on the Farm | Aug. 8
- Illinois State Climatologist Trent Ford and Farm Bill Biologist Dallas Glazik will discuss using conservation practices to increase resilience to weather events.
Sustainability Metrics in the Supply Chain | Aug. 15
- Representatives from Pepsi and ADM will address changes in sustainability sourcing goals and the supply chain landscape.
