Penn State Extension will host a webinar from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m on Aug. 6, 2024, which is designed to help attendees recognize signs of stress and provide effective support to farmers.
The webinar, called “Communicating With Farmers Under Stress,” is designed for agriculture professionals, loan officers, family members and concerned citizens. Topics include identifying stressors affecting farmers, recognizing anxiety and suicide warning signs, and accessing resources to assist farmers in need.
