2020 Oceana Asparagus Day set for March 12 in Michigan

Michigan State University Extension will be holding the 2020 Oceana Asparagus Day on Thursday, March 12, 2020 at the New Era Reformed Church, 4775 First St.,  in New Era, Michigan 49446.

From 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m., asparagus growers and industry professionals will hear industry updates, market outlooks and various disease and insect management practices.

Special guest speaker is Dan Drost, Utah State University, who will provide a talk on “Sustainable Soil Management: Practices Impacting stand longevity and erosion control.” He will also discuss his work on “Feeding Asparagus:  micronutrient needs for optimal productivity.”

Cost: (includes lunch)
$25 per person on or before March 6.
$40 per after March 6.

Cancellations on or after March 6 will incur a $25 cancellation fee.
