Harris Seeds/Garden Trends hires vegetable product manager

Harris Seeds/Garden Trends, a leading provider of quality vegetable and flower seeds, plants and horticultural supplies to both professional growers and home garden customers throughout the United States, recently hired Kristen Andersen as vegetable product manager and trials manager.

Andersen started with Harris Seeds in the spring of 2017, and was promoted to Assistant Vegetable Product Manager in September. Since then she has excelled in managing the company’s vegetable seed product line, a vital component of the company’s grower and home garden business. Andersen graduated from SUNY Cobleskill with a Bachelor of Technology degree in Plant Science and received a Master of Science degree in Plant Breeding, Genetics, and Biotechnology-Horticulture from Michigan State University.

The Joseph Harris Company began in 1879 in the fertile Genesee Valley of Western New York. The Rochester, New York-based company distributes flowers and vegetable seeds, plants and supplies for the home garden and professional grower marketplace.
