Virtual format pursued for SE Regional Fruit & Vegetable Conference

The following announcement has come from the organizers of the SE Regional Fruit & Vegetable Conference and Tradeshow.

“This has been a very difficult decision. Everyone wants to be in Savannah in January and no virtual show can replace the networking and family atmosphere that is the ‘Savannah Conference.’

However, following an intensive study of the current COVID-19 conditions, including a staff tour of the Savannah Convention Center, the Georgia Fruit & Vegetable Growers Association Board of Directors made the painful decision that the conference cannot be held with the COVID-19 protocols currently in place, in particular, the physical distancing requirements.

We will continue to update you on this year’s changes and we ask that you continue to be patient with us as we pivot to a virtual conference.”
