For over six years Meyers served as sweet potato Extension specialist with Mississippi State University, where his research and outreach efforts in crop and pest management and value-added product development helped to advance this growing industry. In August 2019, Meyers joined the faculty of Purdue University’s Department of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture as an assistant professor of weed science, where he will conduct weed management research in vegetable and fruit crops of economic importance to Indiana producers.
