Accomplishments

Francescatto is daughter to a first-generation tree fruit growing family in Brazil. She is an applied fruit physiologist focusing on flower biology, plant growth regulators and crop load management of pome and stone fruit. In January 2015 she joined Cornell University as a postdoctoral research associate in Terence Robinson’s research program working on orchard management and physiology of temperate tree fruit crops and on the use of plant growth regulators for the benefit of New York State tree fruit growers.
