GLEXPO Bus Tour: Where farm marketers exchange ideas

The Great Lakes EXPO Farm Market Bus Tour visited six Grand Rapids, Michigan, area locations featuring a variety of attractions, crops and products.

On Dec. 4, the 132 participants packed three buses and visited Andy T’s Farm Market, Uncle John’s Cider Mill, Phillips Orchards & Cider Mill, Anderson & Girls Orchards, Hamel’s Farm Market and Robinette’s Apple Haus & Winery. Many bus tour attendees operate farm markets, and this annual event provides an opportunity to share ideas.

The bus tour was sponsored by Vegetable Growers News’ parent company, Great American Media Services, Michigan State University Extension and the Great Lakes Fruit, Vegetable & Farm Market EXPO.
