Mar 6, 2019NAMA selects Dean Broadhead as Marketer of the Year
The National Agri-Marketing Association (NAMA) said Dean Broadhead, CEO of broadhead, has been selected as the 2019 NAMA Marketer of the Year.
This recognition is the most prestigious honor awarded to an active member of the association and recognizes outstanding accomplishments in the field of agri-marketing. The NAMA Marketer of the Year award will be presented during the Second General Session of the 2019 Agri-Marketing Conference on Thursday, April 11, in Kansas City, Missouri.
Dean Broadhead founded broadhead with a unique goal to connect urban and rural. Over the 18 years broadhead has been in business, the agency has been able to work in many different sectors of agriculture and work to bridge the gap between rural and urban audiences. Under Broadhead’s leadership, the agency has seen a decade of double-digit growth and has become one of the nation’s largest independent agencies focused on farm, food and lifestyle.
Broadhead recently led agency efforts to create a unique strategy and consulting division, Rabbit. Focused around human-centered design, this new division leverages cultural anthropology, content, technology and data strategy. That four-pronged approach enables broadhead to deliver truly different, purposefully disruptive solutions for its clients.
Broadhead has been an active NAMA member for many years and encourages his employees to get involved whenever they can. Broadhead has supported NAMA as a sustaining partner since 2010 and is involved with Student NAMA to support the future of agribusiness.
NAMA is the nation’s largest association for professionals in marketing and agribusiness. NAMA has been encouraging and recognizing excellence in the industry for 60 years through initiatives such as Agribusiness Leader of the Year, Ag Association Leader of the Year and the NAMA Marketer of the Year.
