Hailee is proud to be involved at her family’s farm operation and enjoys working alongside her dad, uncles, and cousins. Leitz Farms LLC in Sodus, Michigan, grows blueberries, apples, cucumbers, and tomatoes on 700 acres and is known for the “None Better” brand. Seasonally the farm hires over 200 workers. Hailee oversees the farms food safety program, payroll, H2A responsibilities, bookkeeping, compliance, and is a director for the Michigan Vegetable Council. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree when it comes to Hailee’s passion for labor laws, fair employment practices, and appreciation for labor intensive farming operations as she strives for a workplace atmosphere that keeps workers coming back, season after season.
