Canada registers Evito fungicide

Arysta LifeScience North America recently announced registration for EVITO Fungicide in Canada. This registration provides Canadian growers an advanced, highly

systemic fungicide for use in wheat and barley, as well as corn and soybeans. Additionally, EVITO is labeled for use in potatoes, strawberries, peppers and tomatoes.

EVITO quickly enters the plant through its leaves, stems and roots to provide rapid rainfastness, protecting from disease infection under inclement conditions. Well-timed applications, along with the residual soil activity and long-lasting disease control, provide protection of the flag leaf in wheat and barley.

“Canadian wheat growers know flag leaf stage is a very critical point in the development of their crops, and growers focus on protecting the flag leaf in order to attain higher yields,” said Mark McLear, Fungicides Marketing Manager, Arysta LifeScience. “EVITO provides that necessary protection.”

“With one 4.8 L jug of EVITO treating 80 acres, the packaging of EVITO makes it more convenient for Canadian growers to use,” McLear added.
